2D1N Church Camp @ Batam - 5 Nov 2018

On the eve of Deepavali, a group of us from the Tamil congregation took a quick break away from our busy schedule for another time of bonding and relationship building at a small 2D1N church camp in Batam.
The night session was sobering with Rev. Dhamo sharing on 1 Tim 3 and 4 – Qualifications for Overseers and Deacons and how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household. In the morning, Brother Peter did a sharing from Matt 26: 36-39 where Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane. We all enjoyed the boat riding, swimming, and especially the teh tarik which made our day so refreshing and helped to destress us totally.
